meals on wheels gala

west coast valrhona pastry chef derek poirier and polite.persuasion threw down together for the annual mow star chef and vintners gala. we had a blast and are hoping to make this a regular partnership. it was a huge success raising over 1.2 million to feed home bound seniors in the bay area.
this is such a great event for the pastry scene and so nice to see everyone, local bro bill corbett was representing as usual, michelle from range was sweet as ever and I ate way too many slocombe ice cream sandwiches. see you next year.

collaboration is great.

michael reccuhuiti is a great chocolatier, musician and overall fun guy to be around. which is why it’s easy for him to invite a friend over to paint with chocolate, another friend to film it, and another to help record the soundtrack for it. *

keep pushing guys, we love it.
